  3. Register for an exam and schedule with Pearson VUE. This is an exclusive offer for exam delivery with Pearson VUE and the promo code will not apply with any other exam provider. You will need to take your exam and retake (if needed) by November 30, 2023*
  4. Proceed to checkout and use the voucher purchased in step 1 to pay for your exam. If you do need to retake the exam, scheduling the 2nd exam will be at no cost to you.

The Promotion enables Candidates that do not pass an exam on their first attempt a free opportunity to retake the failed exam. The first attempt and the free retake exam attempt must be completed by the end of business hours for the Pearson VUE test center where the Candidate sits for the exam, or 11:59 PM EDT, on November 30, 2023 (whichever occurs first). All initial exams or retake exams started or completed after the end of business hours for the Pearson VUE test center where the Candidate sits for the exam, or 11:59 PM EDT on November 30, 2023 (whichever occurs first), are not eligible for the free promotional retake (the retake exam code will expire). Both the first exam and the free retake exam attempts must be taken with Pearson VUE (via a Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Center or OnVUE online test delivery).

    To take advantage of this offer, the candidate must purchase a voucher from the options available at emarketplace1.pearsonvue.com/secondchance and provide the voucher code at the time of payment when registering for their first exam attempt. Candidates do not need to enter another code for the retake discount to be reflected when registering for their second attempt (if needed).

    Candidates can only take an exam two times within a 30-day period. If a certification exam is not completed successfully on first attempt, there is no waiting requirement before taking a test a second time (rolling 30-day period – not based on calendar).

In the event that the purchase period is terminated or ended prior to September 30, 2023, Pearson VUE will continue to honor the November 30, 2023, cutoff date for taking the exams. No cash value.
